The word most heavily abused, misused, and beat into meaninglessness during the dot com boom and bust by marketing, business, and media units the world over. You are all to blame for killing this word.

The term used mean an important and noteworthy change, in the way that something is viewed and thought of by the majority of a set, or group, or even a society, whereby the old sentiments no longer apply.

Now it means nothing. At all. Period. Thanks for killing a great word.

As in...
Using this term even in an example, in business, or a business or marketing related presentation or publication will only result in delaying its resuscitation, if that is even possible at this point.
