Knowledge transfer

A meeting (typically during lunchtime) where a technical expert drones on and on about a project that they are working on. The idea being that everyone in attendance will instantly become an expert as well just as they do Mindmelds in Star Trek. Most people show up for free food and forget everything they heard by the end of the day. Allows management to check a box.

Were you at the last Knowledge Transfer that discussed maximizing productivity? Those cheapskates made us bring or own lunch and use our personal time for it. Guess that explains why nobody was there.
