Game time decision

Taught by Lecturer Rapscallion | Edit | Permalink | Tagged as biz. dev, biz. dev guy, creative, creative director, creative director guy, decision, game time decision, policy, posturing, stance, | 1 Comments »

When any sort of decision, usually implying a course of action to be taken immediately, or a henceforth ongoing posturing, or stance on policy, is made at the moment that decision needs to be made, and not a minute, or even a second earlier.

As in...
Joe the Biz. Dev. Guy:
Hey William, are we going to be able to show the clients ANY creative in the meeting? We have a deadline for 2:30PM today, and it is already 12:15PM, and we really need to nail down if we're going with "phosphorous" or "chartreuse" for their website's background!

William the Creative Director Guy:
As important as the issue of phosphorous vs. chartreuse is, we haven't made up our minds collectively yet in the creative team on this account... It's going to have to be a game time decision I'm afraid.

Actually, this definition sucks. Let me add my own. You can also share "game time decision" with a friend or share it on Twitter.
