At the end of the day
A proverbial expression that refers to the outlook or conclusion that comes as a result of something else that has come to fruition
As in...
The US dollar may be worthless by the end of 2008. But, when all is said and done, I'm going to go home, shag my wife, and walk the dog. At the end of the day, life will go on and we will all reminisce about the days when things went bad.
Other takes: at the end of the day
Actually, this definition sucks. Let me add my own. You can also share "at the end of the day" with a friend or share it on Twitter.
